I have this list of words I tend to overuse when writing fic, and I’m in the ctrl+f process of editing right now.
apparently I have 42 variations of “pull” in this fic. that. is. atrocious. I mean granted, it’s 10,000 words long, but. that is still not okay. I will be changing that.
I used “moan” and “grip” three times each on the same page....

haha, oh good, I’m not being overly obsessive. I wonder the same thing when I see it in movies. sometimes it is just so clearly not possible, and it makes me irrationally...

part of this fic I’m writing involves a countdown. and people talking while keeping an eye on the timer. so there are references to how much time is left sprinkled between bits of dialogue.
I’m in my really intense editing process now, and I want to make sure I have the timer bit right, so I’m sitting here with my fic in one window and an online timer in the other window....
